Autex Automotive devices started for one reason, to help our customers and provide them with a better product for their money. That reason continues to be why we operate today.
Over 30 years ago, we were a team of mechanics that specialized in German auto repair. One day we started to notice that a lot of our customers needed wiper blades for their convertibles. This was because the manufacturer and the OEM supplier were no longer producing the wiper blades for this model of car.
With a bunch of our customers literally stuck out in the rain, we began sourcing replacement wiper blades. Quickly, we realized that those replacements were nowhere near the standards we find acceptable for our customers. So we decided to do the next best thing, make our own.
While manufacturing these wiper blades, we noticed that coach and transit buses use the same blade we were making. We quickly transitioned to selling our blades to local coach and transit businesses. From that time on, we have continued to help solve our customers problems, leading us to create easy to use products such as our air-to-electric conversion kits, and practical features like our quick adjustment system, among many other innovations.
Our commitment to quality and providing personal support to our customers is how we started and the driving factor for us today.
